Projekt

Das Linzer Design College nahm 2015 an einem Projekt der Organisation „Licht ins Dunkel“ teil. Die Teilnehmer, wie Agenturen, Künstler und Schulen bekamen einen Panton Stuhl und konnten kreativ werden. Wir nahmen unsere Designikone mit aufs Land und schossen mit einem Gewähr auf den Panton Chair. Die „Wunde“ übergossen wir mit Tierblut und benannten unser Projekt „Desinger död“ (schwedisch, für Tod des Designers). Dies war ein Statement zum Wirtschaftstrend Massenproduktion und dem Standard Look. Unser Projekt gewann den Publikumspreis und wurde für die Hilfsorganisation versteigert.

Project

The whole class of Linzer Design College took part in a project of the charity institution ’Licht ins Dunkel’ (German, for light in the dark) to support. Every participant such as design agencies, small shop owners and schools received a Panton Chair to get creative. We took the design icon to the countryside and shot it with a gun. For the grande final we poured real animal blood over the ‚wound’ and created ’designer död’ (Swedish, for dead of the designers) to outline the economical trend of mass production and standard looks. Our project Designer död won the audience award and was auctioned for the charity.
